Welcome to the first annual Gulf Coast Eggfest.  This event will take place April 23 & 24 on the spacious grounds of the Gulfport Dragway (  http://www.gulfportdragway.com ) in Gulfport Mississippi.  The venue is close to the beaches, restaurants and the many casinos that the Gulf Coast has to offer. 

Host Hotel:
The host hotel is the Crystal Inn Hotel and Suites on Canal Road in Gulfport. http://www.crystalinngulfport.com   The hotel is about a mile north of the Dragway and is just off the exit ramp of interstate I10.  The cost of the rooms (king or double queen) is $79.00 plus tax per night.  The after party will take place in the parking lot.  Secure your rooms by calling the hotel directly at 228-822-9600 and request the group rate for Gulf Coast Egg Fest.  The rate will be available until April 1, 2010.

If you have a motor home or camper, primitive camping (no water or electric hookups) will be available at the Gulfport Dragway at cost of $20.00 per night per motor home or camper.  If you would like to participate in this option, please click here, or on the link at the left.

The Meet & Greet will take place at the store of our local Big Green Egg Retailer, Grate Grills and More.
http://www.grategrillsonline.com To reach the store from the host hotel, travel east on I-10 to exit 38 south (Loraine-Cowan Road).  Go south approximately 3.1 miles to Pass road.  Turn left (east) on Pass Road.  Grate Grills and more is located approximately 0.4 mile on the right hand side.

Proceeds from the event will be used to benefit  the Gulfport Police Athletic League whose mission is "to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by providing opportunities to learn discipline, leadership, teamwork, .........."
